Winners Announced for the NRG Creatively Green Family Arts Festival Award

Congratulations to our winning schools!

• Bayville School, Bayville, NJ
• ECO Charter School, Camden, NJ
• Cook-Wissahickon Elementary, Philadelphia, PA

These four schools will receive an NRG Creatively Green Family Arts Festival from Young Audiences New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania, and NRG Energy, Inc. worth up to $10,000. They were selected out of 16 schools throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania that applied.

Winning schools receive the unique opportunity to host a family event, featuring Young Audiences artists that will celebrate imagination and creativity while promoting a better understanding of individual and community responsibility to protect our planet.  The 2-3 hour family arts festival consists of a dynamic performance by a Young Audience artist focusing on the importance of protecting our environment; hands-on art making workshops led by Young Audiences’ professional teaching artists that promote environmental sustainability; and a community art-making project to be played, displayed or shared during the event.
